Biochemistry Club

The Northeastern University Biochemistry Club is dedicated to providing a resource to those in the major or interested in the field. Meetings are a great way for members to network, stay involved, and make meaningful connections with faculty.

Event based meetings include speakers, seminars, workshops, and outings.

Annual Undergraduate Research Night, lab tours, Career Panel, and Co-op Panel are great ways to learn how to make the most of your undergraduate experience here at Northeastern.

The Biochemistry Club is an official member of the Undergraduate Affiliate Network (UAN) of the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB).

Biochemistry majors from Northeastern University have been featured in the undergraduate newsletter of the ASBMB, Enzymatic and are eligible for free admission to the yearly meeting of the ASBMB as well as various ASBMB-sponsored awards and scholarships.

Upcoming Events

Meetings are generally every other Thursday at 7:15pm in 114 Mugar Life Sciences Building. Come get free pizza and refreshments while making friends.

Past Events

The Biochemistry Club begun a new series of speakers: The Catalyst.
This program was first offered on Thursday, February 19, 7:00 p.m., 412 Mugar.  Professors Fertuck & Godoy-Carter talked about their experiences with research, what led them to their respective fields and what they enjoy about their work.
