At Northeastern University, we understand that starting a graduate degree program may sound like a daunting task. You may be wondering how you can fit coursework into your current schedule. Or perhaps you have questions about how your area of study will relate to your current or future professional goals.

Northeastern University Charlotte offers the opportunity to enroll in up to two master’s-level courses before completing a formal graduate application. By enrolling in courses now, you can immediately start earning graduate credit. In addition, you will be able to immediately assess how our flexible course formats can work with your current schedule as well as experience how your coursework will relate to your professional goals.

Get Started Today

To enroll in a class today, simply complete the Express Registration form to begin the process. Once you have submitted the Express Registration form, your registration will be reviewed by the Office of the Registrar and a decision will be made quickly about your eligibility. If your registration is approved, you will be contacted by an enrollment representative with additional details on the process.

Eligibility

To be eligible to take a course, you must:

  • Complete the express registration form
  • Have a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university
  • Not be currently enrolled as a student at Northeastern University
  • Reside within the state of North Carolina

Please note:

  • Students taking courses through the Express Registration process are not eligible for financial aid until they are admitted into a degree program
  • Course enrollment does not guarantee acceptance into a Northeastern University master’s degree program
  • The maximum number of courses students are allowed to take through the Express Registration process is two. After completing two courses, students will be blocked from further course registration until they have been officially accepted into a degree program
