Northeastern Men's Club Hockey 2009-10 Team Rules

The following team rules are the basic rules around which our team will operate.  The main objective
is to provide guidelines around which we need to function in order to act and play like a team. 
 
1    Team members are expected to pay their team fees on time (as advertized by the Team President)

2    Team members are expected to be at all practices and games
 
        a    if a team member cannot make a practice or game, the coach must be
              notified via e-mail 24 hours ahead of time, unless sickness is the issue,
              at which time and e-mail still must be sent.  Honesty is the policy here.
 
        b    a player must attend at least one practice during the week in order to be on the game roster.
 
        c    in order to play special teams for a given game, it is mandatory to be at the most recent
              practice prior to the game
 
        d    goaltenders must be at the most recent practice leading up to a game in order to be considered
              for the start of that game
 
3    Team members are expected to participate in scheduled team activities outside of ice time
 
        a    fund raising
        b    off-ice workouts as scheduled by team captains
 
4    Team members will act with the utmost respect for  both Northeastern and opponent team members.   
      Personnel issues will be escalated to the team captains and then to the coaching staff as needed for resolution.  
      Behavior during all ice activities will always be maintained at the highest level. 
 
5    The team website will be the main communication vehicle for practice & game schedules,
      stats, game rosters, and administration. 

6    Shirt & tie & dress pants and shoes for all home games and warm-ups for away games.

7    Games jerseys are to be kept clean and treated with respect.

8    The locker room must be kept clean, so do your part.
