Parents and family members of, Freshman, Transfer, and Veteran students are invited (and encouraged) to participate in the Parent & Family Orientation program.

The Parent & Family Orientation is designed to introduce you to the broad academic and social aspects of the university community. You will have the opportunity to meet representatives from the academic colleges, participate in campus services presentations, and learn firsthand about the many valuable university resources available to students.

The Undergraduate Student Fee supports Student Orientation and Welcome Week costs, as well as the opportunity to have two complimentary guests participate in the Parent & Family Program. Students will automatically be billed this fee upon enrollment; more information may be found on the Student Financial Services website, under the Billing & Payments tab. There are additional costs for guests above the two complimentary.

The Orientation program is designed for adult participation and is not recommended for young children. Please note that all minors must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times while on University grounds. With the exception of service animals, pets are not permitted on campus.
