Jeshiva

Max Jeshiva
D’Amore McKim School of Business, 2014

My name is Max Jeshiva, and I am a senior at Northeastern University majoring in business with a concentration in finance. Since my freshman year, I have been a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. I have completed three co-ops, with my most recent one being at MFS. I have been strongly involved on campus and am super excited for Homecoming this year. Go Huskies!

Goldman

Taylor Goldman
D’Amore McKim School of Business, 2014

My name is Taylor Goldman and I am a fifth-year senior from Chicago, Ill. If everything goes according to plan, I will be graduating this spring with a degree in Business Administration (Marketing and Management concentrations) as well as a minor in Psychology. To put it simply, I love Northeastern and I am a huge sports nut. Not only have I more than enjoyed my time on campus attending Northeastern hockey and hoops games, I’ve also been able to participate in co-ops with Major League Baseball, the National Basketball Association and the National Football League. With my Mayor of Huntington Avenue campaign, I am trying to bring back the old-fashioned spirit of the contest that included ridiculous advertising and tons of school spirit. Hopefully I can do just that!

Basso

Rachel Basso
Bouvé College of Health Sciences, 2017
My name is Rachel Basso an I am currently a sophomore here at Northeastern University. I entered my freshmen year to pursue degree in Physical Therapy, but have switched to Communication Studies, a field of study more closely aligned with my passions and interests. I am an active volunteer in Peace Through Play, and now serve on the Executive Board as the Director of Events and Recruitment. I am a recent member of the Entrepreneurs Club and am currently competing in the Husky Start-Up Challenge. Having been a three-season high school athlete, I still love a good workout and devote much of my spare time to exercise.

Riggs

William Riggs
D’Amore McKim School of Business, 2016
Hey there, my name is Will Riggs. I’m a business major and Italian minor currently in my middler year. I love traveling, watching classic movies, and the occasional amateur taxidermy. In my time here at Northeastern, I have had the pleasure of getting to know an incredibly diverse student body and am proud to represent both Alpha Epsilon Pi and Northeastern Hillel in my candidacy for Mayor of Huntington Avenue. Go Huskies!

Rodrigues

Jose Rodrigues
College of Science, 2014

My name is Jose Rodrigues. I was born and raised in Stoughton, MA which is 20 minutes south of Boston (We have the IKEA). I’m a 5th year Biochemistry major and Human Services minor. I’m currently on co-op at a small biotech in Cambridge called H-3 Biomedicine. I’ll hopefully be in medical school in a couple of years and I’m interested in cancer research. I’m hoping to pursue a carrier in Osteopathic Medicine. It has been something I’ve been actively trying to promote at Northeastern. I helped to found Northeastern’s chapter of the Pre-Student Osteopathic Medical Association (Pre-SOMA). I’ve also been really involved with service at Northeastern such as, the Alternative Spring Break program and nuSERVES. I’ve been an RA for 4 years. Spring semester will be my 7th semester In Stetson East. I’ve also been an RA in International Village and in Davenport A& B.

I come from a very large, loud Portuguese family. They have taught me a lot, such as: how to eat pork properly, how to have a complete disregard for personal space, and how to be passionate and dedicated to anything you do. In my free time I run, read and pretend to play the guitar. I have a not so unusual obsession with Harry Potter. My favorite books at The Alchemist, Shadow of the Wind, Harry Potter (I already said that). I have the worst laugh known to man and it’s incredibly embarrassing. Northeastern has really given me so much in the past 5 years and I hope to celebrate that this year.

Brandano

Albert Brandano
D’Amore McKim School of Business, 2014

Born and raised 11 short stops away from Ruggles on the Orange Line, I have always had Boston in my blood. Fast-forward twenty-two years and with four years of my Northeastern education behind me, I have grown into a (if I do say so myself) well rounded, chivalrous, scholarly young man. I have lived in the dark side of Kennedy Hall, tried my hand at two seasons of Rugby, and embraced my competitive edge through a number of losing seasons of various intramural sports.

I am currently working through my 3rd co-op, helping to plan a student lead speaker conference in the spring, and training for a marathon in January. I enjoy spending my leisure time at Conor Larkins where you can probably catch me any Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday. When I am not being a “Larkin’s Lurker”, I am usually belting out one of my favorite 90’s tunes at OHE karaoke, or engaging in a marathon FIFA/NHL sesh. I hate the idea of graduating college, but I hate the idea of graduating college without being the Mayor of Huntington more. Vote for me.
