What is SAA? We are students engaging students.

We were founded in spring 2007 as an enhancement of the then Student Ambassadors program sponsored by the Office of Alumni Relations (OAR). The Student Ambassadors were a small group of students that offered educational, social, and character-enriching activities and events for students and alumni. To better accommodate campus needs and member development, the SAA was created.

The SAA engages past, present, and future members of the Northeastern community by cultivating opportunities that strengthen university pride. SAA enriches the student experience by building connections via an expansive alumni network through professional, social, and service events fostering lifelong relationships with Northeastern University.

Our Vision Why we do what we do

We believe that engaged students become engaged alumni, a vital component to promoting the advancement of the University and its mission.

Our Mission What we do

To strengthen the connection between all Huskies past, present and future through events, programming, and services that foster university pride and lifelong relationships.

Our Values How we do what we do

We practice strategic student engagement through collaboration, innovation, and service.

We nurture leadership development and the entrepreneurial spirit of our members to advance our organizations.

We respect diversity of thought and welcome differing perspectives within our organizations.

We foster an alliance between current students and the Office of Alumni Relations.
