Mayor of Huntington Avenue

In the 1960s and ’70s, the Mayor of Huntington Avenue (MOHA) was a contest that united Northeastern and transformed our campus through parades, banners, costumes, and school spirit. The SAA brought this event back to life in 2005 and it continues to get bigger and better each year. The “Mayor’s Debate” continues to be an exciting event for each candidate to prove that they possess Husky pride.

Two years ago, our Mayor of Huntington Avenue won a national award as the CASE ASAP 2011 Outstanding External Program of the year.
